I am so drawn to beautiful vistas and I know a lot of people are. For me, I just get lost in the beauty, become thankful for the moment, and remember a time when I shared this view or one like it with someone I loved. I really get lost in the moment and sometimes that moment ends up being a very long time because I don't want to leave. I start feeling like I can't leave the view because I may not remember it. That's why I called this painting 'Impossible to Leave'.  

This painting is 24" x 24" x 1.5" acrylic on canvas. The sides are painted a medium gray. The painting and sides are coated with UV resistant satin varnish. The painting is ready to ship and ready to hang. 

Being able to visually express my feelings, thoughts and passions onto a canvas is the fulfillment of my personal calling. For the last few years, I have enjoyed creating hundreds of  paintings in a variety of techniques, textures and color palettes.  I enjoy painting with acrylic colors on large sized canvases and hardwood panels and using paintbrushes, palette knives and variety of other tools to get the texture and effect I am looking to create. Most of my paintings and ideas are inspired by being outside, inspired by songs, and inspired by scripture. This inspiration is well emphasized by the titles I give my art.  My desire, talent and enthusiasm in creating abstracts in my design studio have unleashed a natural talent beyond comparison. But most important to me is to share my art with friends, family and anyone who truly takes an interest in a piece.  Art is to be shared and to let someone else call it their own.  www.abstractartbylinda.com
