This 40" wide x 30" high x 1.5" deep contemporary abstract painting is all about deep rich hues, metallics and texture. The biggest challenge was photographing the painting so you the viewer get the most realistic depiction of the work. There are several layers of acrylic umber, burnt umber, & chocolates, and metallics such as bronze, several shades of copper, champagne and gold. In addition, there are very thin layers of glaze and lustres added. I would consider this an eclectic piece that would look just as fabulous next to an antique grandfather clock as it would next to a clear resin chair. It's fabulous! And it was inspired by Mathew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also". This Treasure painting is extremely versatile in that it looks great hanging in any direction - horizontal and vertical - a great choice for designers. I've got both a horizontal and vertical wire with hooks on the back for your convenience.The sides of this painting are an extremely dark brown, the surfaces are coated with gloss varnish and the painting is ready to hang!
